Buenas and Hafa Adai!

It is with great pleasure to announce the availability of the 2018 Guam Statistical Yearbook.  We are confident that this yearbook will provide important historical and economic, social and physical data that policy makers and leaders, researchers, planners, developers, investors and other interested parties will find useful to assess the needs of our community and to work towards improving the social and economic conditions of our island.

The Bureau of Statistics and Plans is committed to providing our community, stakeholders and outside interests with valuable, timely and statistical indices to make sound decisions and to improve Guam’s economic viability and quality of life for our people of Guam.

I thank all the local and federal government agencies and private organizations who collect, maintain, and produce data reports for the Bureau’s use in making this yearbook possible year after year. I am truly grateful to and proud of the management and staff of the Bureau who compile and review the submitted data reports for input into the yearbook which comprises of twenty-three chapters and over five hundred tables.

Please feel free to contact my office at the Bureau if you have any questions about the yearbook or need additional information about the work that we do. For information about other statistical reports produced by the Bureau, please visit our website at bsp.guam.gov.
