Business and Economic Statistics Program

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Business and Economic Statistics Program is mandated to produce a measure of the average change in prices of consumer goods and services, as well as a broad measure of commodity trade transaction balances.

Two separate sections exist to accomplish these objectives: the Cost of Living section is responsible for publishing Guam’s quarterly Consumer Price Index Report; and the External Trade Data section is responsible for publishing the quarterly Export Trade Data Report and the monthly Import Trade Data Report.

Bureau-wide activities support our overarching mission and objective to make available composite social and economic financial and statistical data that provide an accurate picture of Guam’s economy and standard of living.
